All set for Benham Campus

The first phase of building work at Benham Campus is running to schedule and due for completion in early June. The Science Park is engaged in serious discussions with a number of prospective tenants eager to move onto this exclusive site. The top quality two storey office accommodation can be divided according to space requirements and fitted out by companies to high-tech specifications.

Despite the current economic situation, occupancy at the Science Park is still over 95%. The Science Park remains an appealing rural site, with close proximity to major transport routes and Southampton University. The Park boasts onsite communication support services and a range of networking opportunities through links with Southampton Enterprise Hub and Chilworth Business Club.

Commenting on the effect on the Science Park of the recession, Chief Executive Peter Birkett said, “Our continued success in the current economic slowdown is largely down to our flexibility to be adaptive and to evolve to meet the changing needs of the tenants who make up our ‘business community’. As part of this we are looking to offer smaller spaces for letting and are considering the potential for hot desk facilities.
