New vision for Eastleigh retail space

Acting on behalf of Kentstone Properties Ltd, national commercial property consultancy has completed the letting of retail premises at 25 Market Street in Eastleigh to Vision Express.

Vision Express, part of Europe's largest optical retailer, has signed a new 10 year lease on the 1,176 sq ft property at a commencing rent of £18,000 per annum.

Garry Cherrett, Director at LSH’s Fareham office, commented: “This letting to Vision Express follows hot on the heels of a recent letting to Specsavers, which has also acquired premises on Market Street. The prominent location of the unit, and the high pedestrian footfall of Market Street, made it an ideal location for this latest national occupier.

“There has been some good activity of late and a spate of retail lettings shows that despite continued uncertainty of the economy, there are still signs of life. Many national retailers are continuing to expand their operations in the south.”
