Wolseley signs for Southampton industrial space

Acting on behalf of Chancerygate and Helical Bar, national commercial property consultancy, Lambert Smith Hampton (LSH), has secured a further tenant for 2 units at Chancerygate Business Centre, Southampton.

Units 4 and 5, totalling 6,753 sq ft, have been let to Wolseley UK Ltd, the UK arm of the world's number one distributor of heating and plumbing products and a leading supplier of builders' products to the professional market. Having recently been awarded a Southampton City Council contract for the supply of its products, Wolseley required industrial premises to the west of the City from which to fulfil the contract.

A new seven year lease was agreed with the London office of Cushman & Wakefield acting for Wolseley. The quoting rent was £59,000 per annum exclusive
